Stripe integration

Works with the Stripe account you already have

No migration, no change to how you bill customers. Connect your existing Stripe account and Regainly starts recovering failed charges on it directly.

Why it matters

Payment recovery tools don't need to touch your money

Some Stripe integrations ask for permissions far broader than the job requires — write access to charges, the ability to issue refunds, sometimes even payout controls. That's a lot of trust to hand a third party whose only job is retrying a failed charge and sending an email.

Regainly's Stripe integration is scoped to read payment and subscription data only. It can see that a charge failed and why, but it can't move money, issue a refund, or touch a payout — every retry and every recovered dollar happens inside your own Stripe account, under your own Stripe credentials. That's a narrower footprint than most billing or recovery tools ask for, and it's deliberate: the integration doesn't need write access to do its job.

What Regainly can and can't do

Read-only access, your money stays yours

  1. We only read payment and subscription data — Regainly never touches your funds directly.
  2. Recovered revenue lands in your own Stripe balance — it never passes through Regainly.
  3. We invoice separately — our commission is billed to you directly each month, never deducted from your connected account.
  4. Setup takes a couple of minutes — connect your account and Regainly starts detecting failed charges right away.
